Glad I quickly captured this moment. Laying in bed, thinking about the full day of activities and to-dos, the stress of work, motherhood, dirty dishes, life. Then I come across this selfie and I am taken back by how genuinely happy I look. It makes me ponder.
This joyful grin was a fleeting moment in a very long and full day. But all those stressful moments where fleeting, too.
Every moment is fleeting. It’s up to us to choose if which moments we linger with. I am happy this selfie reminded me to choose joy.
