My son surprised me today. While we and my grandmother were at the park, plein air painting, he got on the swing set and started swinging all by himself. Of course I captured some cell phone video, but wanted something more to mark the occasion.

I love the subtle washes of the blue and green in this piece, but I am most proud of the simple swing seat with its slight differneces in ight and shadow to give the impression of its gentle 3D curve.
